DK

Become part of our legacy, ride a bike, ride DK. It all started in 1979 with a BMX rider and his father. Bill Danishek, a teenager from Dayton, Ohio, kept breaking his stems, so his father Charlie, who was a toolmaker at the time, set to work making him a better stem that could withstand the rigors of BMX riding. Soon other riders saw the stem and wanted it too. Riders demanded it, and shortly thereafter DK "Dad and Kids" was born.
