The board is designed as a more aggressive pintail shape with 69mm wheels perfect for daily commuting or surf check. The 180mm reverse kingpin trucks sit lower and are more stable than standard trucks and use a 90A soft cushion for smooth turning.
The Surf-a-Gogo collection is a defiant nod to the surf contest that took place under Venice Beach's P.O.P. (Pacific Ocean Pier) in the 1960s. Organized to help dwindling attendance in the area, the surf contest had invited surfers from all over California and resulted in Venice surfers pushing back the non-locals. Taking cues from this legend of mainstream surf fashion, we designed a collection of boards focused on 1960s surf culture and fashion.
