The oversized 12mm diameter spindles maximize durability and strength. Each pedal runs on three precision bearings - two external cartridge bearings and one internal needle bearing. These robust internal components are housed in a CNC machined aluminum alloy housing with a cage profile that is only 13.5mm thick to improve power transmission. The Brass Knuckles feature unique and proprietary interchangeable lugs with a star pattern for optimal traction. Like all Speedplay pedals, the Brass Knuckles are easy to maintain thanks to the built-in grease injector hole.
